been in a pensive mood the last couple of days. floating through life like a ballerina~
ha! i'm not making any sense! maybe cos of the late mahjong session till 4am at aik xin's house and the sleepover~ it was so fun at pitstop with house 2 yesterday!! oh my, i feel so happy! i 'm totally hooked on SABOTEUR and my love for MAHJONG has been rekindled after earning TEN BUCKS in my first round! ~~~
anyway! my post today shall be on, TURNING 21!
ok, not much of turning 21 in the philosophical/civics&moral education sense, but rather, what i want to do on my 21st!!!
at first, i wanted to settle for a simple nice dinner/celebration with my family and bf and close friends... BUT
EVERYONE AROUND ME IS EITHER PLANNING TO RENT YACHTS/THROW BIG BIRTHDAY BASHES/GO TO FANCY RESTAURANTS ETC !!!!!
so, i think i should do something better too! after all, ya ya, they say, you only turn 21 once! OK! so i'm even giving up field studies this year so that i can spend my birthday in singapore with those who truly mean so much to me! AWESOME!
anyway, i haven't thought of what i wanna do yet. probably one for family and one for friends! BUT! i have thought of my guest list. HA HA!
i know i'm being thick skinned but... OF COURSE YOU WANNA BE PRESENT FOR THE MOST HAPPENING EVENT OF 2009!
I EVEN THOUGHT OF WHAT MY PERFECT PRESENT IS!

1) kawaii tokyo brightening skincare set ! oh my. today i went with marrrrn for some sharrrrping and one mini-set (with only 3 items) at special price already cost $158!!! sooo expensive. i shall wait for a group of kind souls to get me that then : )
2) oh my, i don't know what else i want for now! maybe i want a build-a-bear workshop bear. a very very cute one!!!!:D
3) of course, any type of cosmetics will do too! especially for the eyes. my favourite brands are bobbi brown, MAC, shu uemura and SK2! HA HA HA
hmmmm. speaking of which, FRU FRU WILL BE TURNING ONE SOON TOO!
he LOVES to eat chicken treats! especially the brand called HAPPY HEARTS. i may be throwing a birthday bash for him. dunno, see how. it will be a great chance for all you fans out there to get in touch/close proximity with the great celebrity!

oh my., i think i'm going crazeh !

so a new year has just begun, and once again, i'm starting to feel old!
2008 has been a great year so far- in terms of happiness, health, academic performance and the many new friends i made and old ones rekindled. :)
mz, charlene, yanling & i spent the last few moments of 2008 squeezing with the crowd at marina square, watching the fireworks. they were so lovely and beautiful! this year, i did not take any photos because i wanted to truly revel in the beauty of the fireworks. the whole experience was amazing! last year, mz & i missed the fireworks at vivo. it's great to countdown together and share our new year wishes and resolutions with each other : )
stupid jiale was lazing around at home because she didnt want to squeeze with the crowd. what a waste! tsk tsk. hee hee
anyway, the great SALES are here! my fave time of the year because 1) christmas is my favourite holiday 2) the year end gives a peaceful sense of nostalgia and 3) the annual SALES- the greatest and the best ever always make me feel so happy and satisfied!! anyway. i spent bombs at river island, zara, guess and the like over the past few days! yes i know i've only just gotten back from vietnam but having been away from urban civilisation for eons (ok only 3 weeks but it seemed like eternity) i just had to shop my urge away! it was sooooo sensually gratifying. ha ha !! i bought this checkered jacket from river island for just 60 bucks when its usual price was 200. hehe! it was the last piece and my size some more! which is really rare cos usually the sizes left for sale are hugeass like from UK 12 to 20 so usually river island sales are not that good.. but anyway.. so happy!! it's perfect for my exchange in the second half of the year~! hehe i know i'm getting excited over something that is really far away but i'm really really really excited !!! ok am i making any sense nvm !!
yup anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! may the coming year be filled with love, joy, happiness, health and excitement!! oh and of course, money!!! $$$_$$$
